Ewlah before the Disaster

Our knowledge of the Ewlah coastline pre-Disaster has come mainly from geological studies rather than historical records - Ewlah was mostly ignored by the Falah and Cheidrah civilisations, and the Istran Society only took an interest in the eastern seaboard of the continent. Even so, it is clear that the climatic and geological changes following the development of the northern ice cap were less severe on this continent than it was on the others: Falah lost its epicontinental seas during the Disaster, while over 20 per cent of Cheidran land now lies under the ice cap.

The key change has been the addition of new land along the coasts, due to the falling sea level. The map below shows our current best estimate of the coastline 700 orbits ago.
